At twelve years old, incurable headaches changed my world. Strong medication wasn't working. I was missing out on school and social activities, feeling emotional and helpless at this delicate developmental age. My GP recommended chiropractic. After finding a misaligned vertebrae in my neck, the chiropractor adjusted it. The headache went within 3 visits. This underlying problem would take years to resolve, but my life changed from that first visit.
Then after Six years of University study,
Two degrees,
and Twelve years of experience as a qualified chiropractor,
a wrist fracture changed my life once again...
I was passionate, dedicated, working long hours, and caught up in the demands of helping my patients and the practice - To the detriment of every other aspect of my life. I was out of balance.
The wrist fracture was severe. Healing took months, during which I had to find a way to continue as a chiropractor in a less physically demanding way and find a better balance. Spending time learning how to integrate the upheavals that had occurred. Ultimately realising that I needed to go within and restore my inner balance. Using my innate intelligence to heal all aspects of my life, not just the physical.
This was facilitated by Network Practitioners. I was a patient using this technique in order to become capable of being a Practitioner of it. It truly has transformed my life and practice. NSA has empowered me to find better ways of living, take charge of my health (physical, emotional, spiritual), and reawaken my practice.
My dream and vision is to have such an empowering effect on every single one of my patients, enabling us all to 'reach for the stars'.
